Besides painting, I write too. Sometimes it’s gay sci-fi. I combine illustration and writing. It’s fun!

The Question is one of my illustrations from Knights of the Vermillion Rose.

In my story, Kem and Atal relax at the reception after the much-anticipated, over-the-top wedding ceremony of their friends and neighbors. There are important questions, like…

"By the way, did you eat all the brownies I made last night?”

A story with way more brewing than missing brownies. A little wedding gossip. A big cosmic mystery. Odd neighbors and some very strange goings-on. I’ll leave the answers in the book.

In high school, a teacher told me, “You can paint.” Later, I met three famous artists who told me the same thing. They told me to just keep painting till I found my voice. Ask me who! These days, my characters have questions of their own.

I hand-sign each print. My prints are custom manufactured using archival inks and acid-free paper. Prints usually ship within five business days from my studio in historic Balboa Park, San Diego.
