Bearquake at Flamingo Ridge – Signed Art Print by RD Riccoboni

Bearquake at Flamingo Ridge

Besides painting, I write too. Sometimes it’s gay sci-fi. I combine illustration and writing. It’s fun!

Bearquake at Flamingo Ridge is one of my illustrations from Knights of the Vermillion Rose.

It was time for a vacation. A ghost-hunting vacation in San Diego.

In my story, Brian and Scotty decide to renew their vows with a romantic getaway to Flamingo Ridge, a refurbished mid-century masterpiece rumored to be haunted.

Scotty knows that between the period wallpapers and the possibility of spotting the ghost of a 1950s or ’60s television star around the terrazzo-lined swimming pool, Brian won’t be able to keep his pants on for long.

But wait, did one of the flamingos in the wallpaper just move?

Romance, ghosts, and a big Bearquake dance party. I’ll leave what happens to their vacation in the book. Packing light might have been the sensible part.

My first show was in a Los Angeles coffee shop. Where there's a wall, there's a way. A movie star bought a painting and told me, “You can paint.” Today my art hangs in museums and homes around the world. In this story, even the wallpaper gets in on the act.
