Mapquestor – Original Hand-Embellished Canvas by RD Riccoboni

In The Mapquestor, I turn a man's portrait into his own city map. He’s casual, sure of himself, relaxed and strong. This painting is part of my Beartropolis Fantasy Flyover Man Map series, where the figure and the city become one.

I leave the neighborhood names to your imagination. Only you and the Mapquestor know where everything is. Where do his roads lead?

Original Hand-Embellished Canvas

This 16 × 20 inch artwork begins with a canvas print of The Mapquestor. I add original brushwork and painted details by hand, making each finished piece different, and sign the canvas.

I ship from my studio in historic Balboa Park, San Diego. Please allow about four weeks plus delivery time so the artwork has time to dry.
