Beartropolis Farms Under Construction – Signed Canvas Prints by RD Riccoboni

Beartropolis Farms Under Construction

I’m back in the zone… the construction zone!

In Beartropolis Farms Under Construction, I invite you to explore my detailed map of one of the most comedic districts I’ve imagined. I created the fictional cities of Beartropolis as a world to get lost in through paint. In my imagination, this legendary Queer city of the future is tucked into a secret Southern California valley just north of San Diego. You can reach it via Interstate 69 or a flight into Barbra Streisand International Airport.

For this version of my Beartropolis Fantasy Flyover Man Map series, I included the full map key descriptions, with cities, neighborhoods, streets and highways to explore. I used color to mark different neighborhoods and properties, bringing the streets together into the outline of a man.

Look for the Great Liza Minnelli Wilderness, Judy Garland National Park, Lucky Pierre, Ottertown, Fabulous Adjacent, Desperation Estates, North Beyoncé, Facebook Jail, and Ace Park.

I painted this map in my geometric, painterly style, with color and whimsy woven through its streets. I built a city you can get lost in without leaving your wall. No traffic report required.
