Knight in the Roses - Surreal Flower Bear Style signed painting print by Riccoboni

In Knight in the Roses, I bring a character from my novel Knights of the Vermillion Rose into my Flower Bear world. He’s a stowaway aboard a spaceship who wants to join his parents on a secret mission. But he has a secret of his own: he’s got two boyfriends, and both are stowaways aboard the ship with him! Can you guess which character he is?

I painted him with dark, swept-back hair, a full beard, and a downward gaze. Red roses surround his bare torso, while violet shadows and warm gold and peach tones shape his face and figure. I love the contrast between his strength and the flowers, bringing my science-fiction storytelling and floral portrait art together in one image.

With this signed print, you can bring a character from my novel into your own space. It’s a piece for readers of my story, collectors of queer and fantasy art, and anyone drawn to my Flower Bear portraits.
