Map of Bear Valley – Framed Original Mixed-Media Self-Portrait by RD Riccoboni

The artist is the map. In Map of Bear Valley, that artist is me.

I reimagined my self-portrait as part of my Beartropolis Fantasy Flyover Man Map series. After creating these fictional cities, I stepped into the landscape myself. I think it’s my most complex man map yet. Perhaps it’s my personality. I asked a few friends if I had a Type A personality. They all answered the same way: “Well, duh, YES!” Oh my. Here I thought I was a laid-back, chill artist.

Anyway, this Beartropolis turned out great. Besides, I’m young and hot! Haha!
