Rainbears Under the Red Umbrella – Original Hand-Embellished Canvas by RD Riccoboni

Rainbears Under the Red Umbrella

I painted Rainbears Under the Red Umbrella after witnessing a rainstorm in town. I saw these guys huddled beneath a large golf umbrella, talking and safe from the storm. Friends catching up, even in bad weather.

That moment stayed with me. The weather hadn’t stopped their conversation or their time together. To me, it said a lot about friendship.

I’ve painted this scene with umbrellas in various colors. This is the red version.

My first show was in a Los Angeles coffee shop. Where there's a wall, there's a way. A movie star bought a painting and told me, “You can paint.” Today my art hangs in museums and homes around the world. Your support over the years allows me to use my talent to give back to my community through art fundraising. Turns out I can paint and help make the world a little brighter.
