Eastern Beartropolis signed artist painting print

In Eastern Beartropolis, the man and the city are the same thing. We always talk about artists getting in the zone. Here I get into the construction zone!

I created the fictional world of Beartropolis and painted its cities from above. In this painting, I drew my complex street grids, city blocks, and red road lines through the figure himself, weaving the city into skin and bone. I used blues, teals, yellows, and oranges to show different sections of town, properties and neighborhoods. I bring color and depth to the composition. It’s part figure study, part aerial map, and a place I invite you to explore.

This painting is part of my Beartropolis Fantasy Flyover Map series. I hope you have fun and get lost in my imagined world, the same way I do when I am creating these cities.
