Save Any Planets Lately? – Signed Sci-Fi Art Print by RD Riccoboni

Save Any Planets Lately?

“Hello Karl, save any planets lately?”

Besides painting, I write too. Sometimes it’s gay sci-fi. I combine illustration and writing in my graphic novel, Knights of the Vermillion Rose. It’s fun!

In Save Any Planets Lately?, I introduce Kem and Atal, two Galactic Knights known on Earth as Karl and Alberto Cross. Blending in is part of the assignment. Saving the world is a lot to take on. Can they fit in a few LGBTQ Bear events while they’re here?

Even an undercover mission needs a social calendar.

In high school, a teacher told me, “You can paint.” Later, I met three famous artists who told me the same thing. They told me to just keep painting till I found my voice. Ask me who! These days, that voice has room for queer heroes, cosmic adventures, and a little mischief.

I’ll leave the rest of Karl and Alberto’s assignment for you to discover in the book.
